Drake fans left from being lit to being all emotional when listening to his new song “Jaded” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. Drake drops his new double album Scorpion on Thursday night, and social media quickly blew up with some folks this is the Toronto rapper’s best album yet. Whether or not that is the case is still up for debate, but you can expect some real fire if you haven’t listened to the album yet. The project comes with an A Side and a B Side which transitioned from hardcore rap to R&B Drake.
There is one R&B track on the project that has been getting a lot of attention, and that’s “Jaded.” “Told me about all your insecurities, for what? / Dragged me like two hours to your family’s house, for what? / Said you need some time, but I should stick around, for what? / Always felt like stickin’ ’round’s the same as being stuck,” Drizzy sings. “Jaded” serves for the perfect ex-girlfriend anthem this summer.

Mavado is pulling all the stops to fight his son’s murder case. Mavado has expressed his son’s innocence in the charges laid against him and vows to fight for his freedom with everything he got. Sources inside the Gullyside camp exclusively told Urban Islandz that the singer is looking to build a high powered defense team for his son. One of the criminal defense attorneys he is looking at is Vybz Kartel lawyer, Tom Tavares-Finson, who is widely regarded as one of the best in Jamaica.
Mavado has been getting a lot of criticisms inside dancehall from mostly his fans for leaving the island leaving his son behind to face the criminal justice system by himself. We’re told that is not the case and Mavado is shelling out a lot of money to mount a solid defense for his son. Kartel’s legal team is currently busy with his appeal case, so Vado will likely wait until that case is concluded in July to take them on full time.
We’re also told that Vado thinks that police is trying to frame his son by pinning the murder charge on him to force him back to Jamaica because they also want to pin charges on him. Mavado has been staying away from Jamaica because he believes that his life will be in danger if he returns to the island. He also thinks that the police force is trying to set him up for the same murder charge his son is facing. Sources told us that the singjay also regularly speak to his son through his attorney. Mavado’s 16-year-old son was arrested and charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, arson, and illegal possession of a gun and ammunition. The teenager has maintained his innocence and is currently held without bond in a juvenile center.
As for Mavado, there is no word yet on if or when he will return to Jamaica to meet with police officers. However, law enforcement officials say they are prepared to have him extradited if necessary. Share this:

JAY-Z had something to say about XXXTentacion’s killers on Drake’s
new album Scorpion .
Just imagine two of the biggest rappers on the same song. Perhaps
the most surprising guest feature on Drake ‘s new album is JAY-Z
purely because Hov took some shots at the 6 God on his new joint
album with Beyonce, Everything Is Love. While being on the album is
pure magic, it’s his lyrics about XXXTentacion and Zimmerman that’s
getting the most attention.
“Y’all killed X and let Zimmerman live, Streets is done,” Hov raps on
the song “Talk Up.” JAY-Z also took a jab at President Trump for
constantly tweeting about him. How can you not be a fan of Hov? “I
ain’t on the ‘Gram, they record who I am, God to these dope boys,
How you not be a HOV fan?” he raps.
JAY-Z is currently touring in Europe with his wife Beyonce and living
his best life, but he did find some time to record a verse for
Drake’s new double album, Scorpion. The verse must’ve recorded
recently since XXXTentacion died last week Monday (June 18).
One of the main suspects in XXXTentacion’s murder has been
arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Police are on the
hunt for more suspects in the killing that sparked outcry from fans
of the South Florida rapper.

A popular pastor has joined a bunch of Kenyans who have been
complaining about the gospel industry and also rebuked the it saying
that it’s full of pretenders.
On social media, pastor James Reborn specifically attacked Groove
Awards saying that it’s rewarding music that doesn’t praise God but
earthly things.
“GROOVE AWARDS is fake there is no power of gospel in those awards
they are just lost generation hiding in the church secularising
gospel,” said the pastor on Facebook.

He then went on to attack such song as Oddi dance, KDF and other
similar song that have been ruling the airwaves claiming that they
shouldn’t be categorized as gospel at all.
“I weep for our young generation because if odi dance, KDF,kula

Twitter lets musicians do three
things they can’t do on other social
platforms.
First, if you hate Twitter, fine; don’t be on it.
Same goes for ANY social platform. Concentrate your efforts.
The new rules of social media say you SHOULDN’T be everywhere.
But if you ARE on Twitter, if you like using Twitter, if you’ve seen
results on Twitter, don’t lose hope just because media reports have
shown it on a downtrend over the past few years.

Most Twitter users don’t know your music.
Introduce yourself.

It’s worth remembering, Twitter still has hundreds of millions of active
monthly users — and most of them have never heard your music. That’s
a big untapped market right there.

Next, Twitter lets you do a few things that you can’t do on other
platforms.

1. Post links without hurting your reach.
Facebook downgrades your posts if they contain URLs, especially off-
platform links.

Instagram doesn’t even let you put linkable URLs in your captions; you
just get the one link in your profile bio.
Twitter lets you tweet all day long with links to Spotify, Soundcloud,
YouTube, websites, whatever. And those tweets don’t get ground to
nothing just because they lead users to content that isn’t native to
Twitter.
Even better, lots of those external links (like YouTube videos and
certain music links) will open right up within Twitter so you get
immediate interaction.

2. Post as frequently as you want without hurting your reach.

Instagram lets you post pics to your heart’s content. But sometimes you
want to SAY something.
Facebook might be amenable to a few updates per day, but the more
posts you write, the less likely your followers are to see them.
When you want to say something with words, when you want to say a lot
of things with words, there’s Twitter!
A string of tweets can show you building a larger story over a short
time. A tweet every 15 minutes can reveal the random misadventures of
your life. The one-off tweet can share a revelation.
Whether you want to let your fans in on your stream-of-conscious mind
or you prefer to schedule 50 tweets ahead of time in HootSuite, Twitter
doesn’t hold you back.

3. Support others without hurting your reach.

Being a member of a larger music community is important, but when you
want to share info about a friend’s new music, or thank a blogger who
covered your latest release (on the same day your video goes live on
YouTube), or just ask your fans what they thought of that cool article
about your favorite artist,… you might be reluctant to do so on Facebook
if it hurts the reach of other important posts you need to make that day.
Who comes to the rescue? Yep, once again, Twitter.
Twitter has zero barriers to being a good community member. You can
tweet, retweet, reply, and like things whenever you want. When there’s
no cost to being a supporter of others’ work, generosity follows. Sure,
Twitter is the digital home to plenty of trolls, but it can be a really
supportive place as well.
What else can musicians gain from Twitter?
Those are just three of the things you can still do on Twitter that you
can’t do elsewhere on social platforms. I’m sure there are other unique
opportunities there too.

Pusha T takes more shots at his enemy Drake using an infamous
gritty Vybz Kartel line.
Pusha T says his beef with Drake is over, but he is still out there
taking shots at the 6 God. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper has always
been a huge fan of dancehall music and has even collaborated with
Popcaan and Vybz Kartel in the past. King Push quoted some of
Kartel lyrics recently when he heard that Drake has a career-ending
diss track in his arsenal.
The lyrics were taken from Vybz Kartel diss track for Mavado “Send
A Hell” which was recorded in 2007 in the heights of the Gully/Gaza
war. “Anuh likkle bit a people me send a hell / Dem never kill nobody
yet a lie dem a tell,” Pusha tweeted.
It seems Pusha T is ready for anything Drake got coming on his new
album Scorpion dropping this weekend. Drizzy took a few bruises in
round one of their beef when King Push released “ The Story Of
Adidon .” The Toronto rapper recently revealed that he will be
addressing the beef and explained on his new album why he never
responded to that diss track.
Perhaps Pusha T is also hinting that he has a diss track with Vybz
Kartel. If that’s the case, then that would deeply divide Drake’s
massive dancehall fan base since Kartel controls a sizeable portion
of the genre.

Kenyan songbird Victoria Kimani has come out to reveal that she has never had sex since May last year after breaking up with her Nigerian lover. In a video post, Kimani said that she was still looking for a right partner and it was hard for her to live without a man considering her age. “What month are we in now? Since May last year I have not had sex with one person. So who is messing up? Is it me? Or is it the men. It’s hard. It’s like global warming,” she said in a video post. Kimani was previously in a relationship with Nigerian video producer Stanley Obiamalu before the two parted ways in May 2017. Kimani revealed her break-up with Stanly in December same year during a TV show

Vybz Kartel is the king of clap back on Instagram especially when it
comes to his kids.
The dancehall deejay posted a photo of himself with his three sons
on IG on Fathers Day and one of his fans had something to say about
the photo. “Hey why all those kids have dark skin and you are so
light? the fan asked. Vybz Kartel clap back saying, “For someone
named “proverbs” you fool nu bloodclaat.”

If you’ve been a fan of Vybz Kartel since the start of his career then
you would’ve known that Vybz Kartel bleached his skin around
2009-2010 and he has been proud of it. Perhaps this fan just felt
like doing a little trolling and ended up getting smackdown for it.
Earlier this week, Vybz Kartel put his baby mama Tanesha “Shorty”
Johnson on blast. Not only did he revealed that the pair is no longer
together, but also that she is not authorized to conduct any business
on his behalf. When one fan suggested that she cheated on him,
Kartel liked the comment which is pretty much confirming the
allegations.
Vybz Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, is currently in prison for murder.
His appeal trial gets underway on July 9th and will last for three
weeks.

Mwarabu in a post on his Instagram page said that he had a bad
accident and his skull cracked, as he asked his followers to pray for him
while he was being rushed to hospital » .

“Ndugu zangu nimepata ajali mbaya sana nimepasuka kichwani ila
ninawashukuru Lugalo Hospital kwa kunipatia huduma ya kwanza sasa
hivi wananikimbiza Muhimbili kwa hiyo dua zenu ndugu zangu ,” read his
post.

In an interview with Wasafi TV, Mwarabu said that the accident
occurred on Friday after a motorcycle he was on collided head on with
another motorcycle as they tried to overtake a lorry.
Reports from the hospital also indicate that he is now in a stable
condition after he was attended to by doctors.

Mwarabu Fighter is currently recuperating at the Muhimbili National
Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Plenty of children these days are so obsessed with having internet
access that they will virtually refuse to go on holiday unless the hotel
or villa has WiFi.
They’re certainly used to being fully ‘connected’ at school, where
millions of youngsters who were once taught with chalk on a blackboard
now sit in circles on the floor surfing the web on their tablets or phones.
The trouble is that though smartphones are used as educational tools in
some lessons, they can also be a dangerous distraction during the day
for pupils. In fact, youngsters taking phones into schools has become
such a contentious issue that now a minister has called for them to be
banned.
Yet there is another issue which is perhaps even more important: one of
the world’s top cancer experts has said the WiFi beamed through
Britain’s classrooms — radio waves that send signals between base
units and devices such as iPads and mobile phones — could be as
dangerous as ‘tobacco and asbestos’.
Prof Anthony Miller of Toronto University couldn’t be blunter, saying:
"[WiFi] should not be allowed in schools."

Professor Miller – who was Director of Canada’s National Cancer
Institute’s Epidemiology Unit, and has held top posts in the World
Health Organisation and the German Cancer Research Centre – is not
alone in his fears.
He is the latest in a long line of top scientists to warn that the invisible
waves of electromagnetic radiation that now constantly wash over us all
- dubbed ‘electrosmog’ even by some academics - may cause a future
cancer epidemic, and that it’s children who are most at risk.

RESTRICTIONS IN SOME COUNTRIES
Some concerned nations have already begun banning or restricting
WiFi, as well as mobile phones – another source of electrosmog – in
schools.
But not Britain. Eighteen years after a landmark official inquiry,
headed by a former Government Chief Scientist, recommended a raft of
measures to reduce this kind of radiation, virtually nothing has been
done.
In the meantime, we have effectively been conducting a massive medical
experiment on ourselves, and our children – who some campaigners are
now referring to as ‘Generation Zapped’. For the fact is that human
beings have never been exposed to anything like this before.

The ubiquitous electrosmog from mobile phones, WiFi, baby monitors,
smart energy meters and a host of other internet-connected products
is a billion times stronger than the natural electromagnetic fields in
which living cells developed over the past 3,800 million years.
The worrying thing is that we don’t know how this experiment will end.
That is partly because it will take years to play out: massive exposure
only began recently and cancers, for example, can take decades to
develop. But partly it is because scandalously little research has been
done into the possible effects of electrosmog.
Most of the little we are learning comes from studies on mobile phones,
which deliver relatively intense doses of the radiation to the head.
Some studies have given them the all-clear, but these have generally
only looked at short-term exposures - people who had not used mobiles
for long enough (generally less than a decade) to develop cancer.
By contrast, important Swedish research found that people exposed to
them for ten years or more were twice as likely to develop a malignant
brain tumour on the side of the head where they usually held their
handsets.
This finding was broadly confirmed by a massive study, covering
thousands of people in 13 countries, by the world’s top authority on
cancer-causing substances – the World Health Organisation’s
International Agency for Research on Cancer.
These studies caused the Agency to conclude in 2011 that ‘electrosmog’
is a possible cause of the disease in humans.
And Professor Anthony Miller believes that new research – including a
French study that suggested a fivefold increase in brain cancer risk
from mobile phones – should cause the Agency to upgrade its
assessment, and condemn the radiation as a clear carcinogen.
HEART FAILURE ALSO A RISK
Studies have also linked mobiles with cancer of the salivary gland and
acoustic neuromas - benign tumours on the auditory nerve which usually
cause deafness and problems with balance.
What worries Prof Miller, and other top scientists who share his fears,
is that increasing evidence that mobile phones can cause cancer may be
revealing just the tip of the iceberg of a far wider danger from
electrosmog.
Of course, a room full of WiFi radiation delivers a much smaller dose
than a mobile phone held to the side of the head. But people are
exposed to it for much longer either in offices, schools or at home,
especially if they leave it on overnight in the house, which almost
everyone does.

And it’s not only cancer that is causing concern. Campaigners, and
some senior academics, point to evidence that the thickening
electrosmog may be linked with heart failure, male infertility, autism,
severe cognitive impairment, damage to chromosomes and DNA, and
many other conditions.
It is also increasingly accepted that about three in every hundred
people are especially sensitive to the radiation, suffering symptoms like
headaches, ringing ears, chest pains and sleeplessness.
It should be stressed that nothing is proven, and it’s important not to
be alarmist, but, whatever the true danger may be, it is children who
are certainly most at risk both from mobile phones and from electrosmog
in general.

Their nervous systems are still developing, making them more
vulnerable. Their skulls are thinner, so their brains get bigger doses.
And quite simply, with many decades ahead of them, they will be
exposed to more of the radiation in their lifetimes than adults today.
So the proliferation of WiFi into so many of our schools is worrying.
While using WiFi, tablets, laptops and other devices emit radiation as
well as receiving it, which also increases children’s exposure. More than
a million tablets are now in use in Britain’s classrooms.
HARDWIRING RECOMMENDED
Campaigners urge schools to avoid danger and still get the benefits of
such technology by hardwiring devices, through, for example, direct
connections to desks, or points on walls and floors, or hanging from the
ceiling.

More and more countries and cities are indeed going back to the future
in this way. France has banned WiFi from nursery schools (the younger
the child, the greater the danger), and restricted its use in teaching
children up to the age of 11.
It has also banned mobile phones from all schools, partly because they
are socially disruptive. But the country’s official Agency for Food,
Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety has recommended
that tablets and other WiFi devices should be regulated as phones are.
Cyprus has also banned WiFi from kindergartens, and only permits it in
the staff offices of junior schools for administration purposes. Israel
also prohibits it in pre-schools and kindergartens, and allows it only to
be gradually introduced in class as children get older. The Israeli city
of Haifa has hardwired its school system so children can used
computers that don’t need WiFi to connect to the internet.
Frankfurt, meanwhile, hardwired 80 per cent of all its schools more
than a decade ago, while the school authorities in Salzburg, Austria,
wrote to headteachers officially advising them not to use WiFi as long
ago as 2005.
Ghent in Belgium has banned WiFi in pre-schools and daycare centres,
while individual local authorities in Spain and Italy have removed it
from all their schools. Even faraway French Polynesia has prohibited it
in nursery schools and limits it in primary ones. And so the list goes on.
Here in Britain, by contrast, there is only complacency and inaction -
despite authoritative early warnings of trouble ahead.

Way back in 2000, a official inquiry headed by Sir William Stewart, a
former Government Chief Scientist, produced a landmark report
recommending ways of reducing exposure to electrosmog, especially for
children. Tony Blair’s government publicly accepted most of its
recommendations – then failed to implement them.
Five years later, Sir William - as chairman of the official National
Radiological Protection Board - issued another report urging similar
action, with the same lack of results. Then, in 2007 - he was by then
Chairman of the Health Protection Agency (HPA) – he voiced concern
about WiFi in schools. But its use has only spread rapidly since then.
Public Health England, which succeeded the HPA, now says it ‘sees no
reason why WiFi should not continue to be used in schools’.
Official action on electrosmog in Britain is limited to advising that
‘excessive use’ of mobiles by children should be ‘discouraged’. Even
this has been watered down from a decade ago, when youngsters were
urged to avoid the phones for ‘non-essential calls’.

As Professor Miller recently told a conference organised by the
Environmental Health Trust, it is high time to start taking sensible
precautionary measures to protect our children. The alternative is to do
nothing and hope for the best. That’s what we did with tobacco and
asbestos, and we know how that turned out. In the Professor’s words:
‘We ignore this at our future peril.’

Seems there is a mini XXXTentacion on the way according to the late
rapper’s mother.
XXXTentacion‘s mom made the revelation to his fans on Instagram
when she posted a photo of a ultrasound with the caption, “He left us
a final gift.” His fans are already in a frenzy about the news and
get this, before he died, he said in his final Instagram Live video
that if he dies he will be born again soon after.
